Ben Park
Executive Director, Travel & Sustainability

Ben Park is a seasoned global procurement expert with 14 years of experience, currently serving as Executive Director of Travel and Sustainability at Parexel. In this role, he has successfully refined global sourcing strategies and implemented impactful initiatives to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainable practices. Beyond his achievements at Parexel, Ben is a respected advocate within the travel industry, demonstrated by his nomination as regional chair of GBTA Europe. He has played a key role in the development and delivery of GBTA’s Sustainable Travel Management course and actively supports the GBTA Foundation’s Sustainability Acceleration Challenge, highlighting his commitment to advancing sustainability within the sector.

Kelsey Frenkiel
Director, Sustainability Program
GBTA
Kelsey Frenkiel is a business travel, sustainability, and conservation professional, with a strong applied and academic background. She is currently the Director of Sustainability at the Global Business Travel Association, where she leads projects that leverage the business travel industry for the benefit of both People and Planet. Between 2017 and 2022, Kelsey held a programmatic role with the Center for Responsible Travel (CREST), where she oversaw large-scale international and domestic projects on sustainable tourism and destination stewardship. She is also the co-editor of Overtourism: Lessons for a Better Future (2021), which tracks the causes and impacts of overtourism, while also assessing experiments underway to mitigate it.

Mark Ziegler
Senior Travel Manager

Travel industry professional Mark Ziegler is the Senior Travel Manager at NetApp, Incorporated based in northern California. Mark has been part of the travel industry for over 40 years and has worked for TMC’s, an airline, and a GDS. More than half of his professional experience has been as a corporate travel buyer. His GBTA positions include Board member, Bay Area Chapter President, Vice President of GBTA, and CPC President. He has served on several committees and is currently Vice-Chair of the Sustainability Committee. Working with the Committee and implementing a travel sustainability program at NetApp are major activities for him. He’s also a proud husband, father, and grandfather!
