Ben is a global procurement and sustainability expert, who, for the last 14 years, has focused on optimizing the company’s Travel & Expense (T&E) offering, creating value by enhancing service, promoting sustainable travel and safety, while maximizing savings to the company.
Ben manages the Parexel Global T&E team and is responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the company’s worldwide travel and expense, car fleet and commercial payment programs across 52 countries. In addition, Ben has the responsibility of coordinating and leading Parexel’s global Environmental and Sustainability efforts. Ben lives in Berlin, Germany with his family and two kids.
Ben is a strong leader of the Europe Advisory Board taking the chair role to new levels having led selection and recruitment of incoming Europe Advisory Board members. He is a key contributor to our advocacy efforts having spent 3 days in Brussels with us on our recent round of meetings. Ben pushes GBTA to be global, and to be relevant – and to provide programs and services to members that help them to be better informed and more valuable to their companies. He was the driver for GBTA producing an NDC-related podcast featuring the buyer perspective. He is an active participant in conference planning - Main stage; breakout scoring and selection, as well as overall event design.
