GBTA WINiT Expands to Canada and Mexico
Following the launch of the EMEA Chapter earlier this year, WINiT, a GBTA Foundation program that helps women move forward in their careers in the travel industry, is furthering its commitment to supporting women around the world by introducing chapters in Canada and Mexico.
Each region will offer programming to support the three primary pillars of GBTA WINiT: Mentorship, Professional Development, and Community through providing the tools, resources and networks necessary to ensure the overall state of women in business travel is robust and thriving.
Leading the new chapters will be:
- GBTA WINiT Canada Chapter Chair Stacey Perlmutter, Director, Strategic Accounts at Enterprise Mobility;
- GBTA WINiT Mexico Chapter Chair Eva Ramirez, Associate Director of Sales, Business Travel, Mexico and Central America - BWH Hotels.
"We encourage members in the region to take advantage of this expansion and participate in the new chapters. Together, we can continue to help women achieve leadership positions across the industry," said Beverly Heinritz, Director of GBTA Foundation Programs.
