A fines de enero de 2018, es posible que no pueda usarlo para vuelos nacionales dentro de los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p>De 2008 a 2011, el Departamento de Seguridad Nacional (DHS) autoriz\u00f3 $263 millones en subvenciones para mejorar la seguridad de las licencias de conducir y tarjetas de identificaci\u00f3n emitidas por el estado. Goldman revis\u00f3 los est\u00e1ndares espec\u00edficos que los estados deben cumplir para ser considerados en cumplimiento.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/GBTA-Webinar-10-26-16_Page_04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2475 size-large aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/GBTA-Webinar-10-26-16_Page_04-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"gbta-webinar-10-26-16_page_04\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Al 13 de octubre, hay 24 estados que cumplen, 29 que no cumplen y tres en revisi\u00f3n. Aunque les conviene hacerlo, las barreras legislativas impiden que ciertos estados cumplan. A partir del 22 de enero de 2018, los viajeros con credenciales de identificaci\u00f3n emitidas por estados no conformes sin una extensi\u00f3n tendr\u00e1n prohibido volar dentro de los Estados Unidos. Los viajeros pueden verificar si se aceptar\u00e1 su licencia de conducir o tarjeta de identificaci\u00f3n <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dhs.gov\/real-id-enforcement-brief\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>La ley entrar\u00e1 en vigor en su totalidad el 1 de octubre de 2020, despu\u00e9s de lo cual la TSA solo aceptar\u00e1 identificaciones emitidas por estados que cumplan con los requisitos, adem\u00e1s de pasaportes, identificaciones militares de EE.
