UU. en acci\u00f3n"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Esta semana particip\u00e9 en una reuni\u00f3n de la Junta Directiva del <a title=\"Lanzamiento GBTA\" href=\"https:\/\/gbta.org\/es\/usa\/pressreleases\/Pages\/rls_040114.aspx\/?Source=http:\/\/www.gbta.org\/lists\/news\/Allitems_all.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Junta Asesora de Viajes y Turismo de EE. UU.<\/a> (TTAB). Como recordar\u00e1n, a principios de este a\u00f1o fui designado para formar parte de la TTAB en nombre de la GBTA. Durante la reuni\u00f3n, cuatro subcomit\u00e9s hicieron recomendaciones a la Junta basadas en nuestros \u00faltimos meses de investigaci\u00f3n y trabajo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TTABpic1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-589\" alt=\"TTABpic1\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TTABpic1-e1416597906613-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Como copresidente del Subcomit\u00e9 de Datos y Estad\u00edsticas junto con el presidente <a title=\"Asociados Runyan\" href=\"http:\/\/www.deanrunyan.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dean Runyan de Runyan Associates<\/a>, presentamos recomendaciones relacionadas con viajes internacionales a Estados Unidos. Algunos datos simples pero cr\u00edticos para ayudar a comprender por qu\u00e9 esto es tan importante:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Se gastan $890 mil millones en viajes y turismo en Estados Unidos<\/li>\n<li>Casi el 25 por ciento de esto es atribuible a los viajes internacionales.<\/li>\n<li>Este viaje internacional apoya directamente <b>1,2 millones de empleos estadounidenses<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TTABpic2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-590\" alt=\"TTABpic2\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TTABpic2-e1416597937520-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Para seguir aumentando a\u00fan m\u00e1s estas impresionantes cifras, debemos hacer un mejor trabajo colectivo en la recopilaci\u00f3n de datos, medir nuestra eficacia y dirigir el poder de marketing colectivo de nuestra industria.<\/p>\n<p>Nuestro subcomit\u00e9 se centr\u00f3 en mejorar la Encuesta de viajeros a\u00e9reos internacionales (SIAT) del Departamento de Comercio de EE. UU. La SIAT ya cuenta con un amplio apoyo, ya que nuestro gobierno y la industria dependen de sus datos para contar su historia, tomar decisiones y mostrar el retorno de la inversi\u00f3n a todos sus electores. Esta investigaci\u00f3n primaria es vital para todos los estados, organizaciones de marketing de destinos y empresas que se dedican e invierten en esta industria.<\/p>\n<p>Con s\u00f3lo una modesta inversi\u00f3n en el SIAT, podr\u00edamos aumentar el tama\u00f1o de la muestra de viajeros internacionales encuestados. Nuestro objetivo es llevarlo de la muestra actual del 0,2 por ciento de viajeros internacionales al 1,0 por ciento. Este peque\u00f1o salto podr\u00eda marcar una diferencia real.<\/p>\n<p>Esperamos proteger los $2,0 millones existentes asignados al SIAT e invertir unos modestos $1,5 millones adicionales para financiar a\u00fan m\u00e1s el estudio y probar las recomendaciones para optimizar la forma en que recopilamos estos datos cr\u00edticos. Esta mejora en la investigaci\u00f3n y recopilaci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 a Estados Unidos promocionarse mejor como un destino principal para viajes de negocios y de placer.<\/p>\n<p>El resultado ser\u00e1 dram\u00e1tico en su efecto a largo plazo para hacer crecer no s\u00f3lo los viajes y el turismo, sino tambi\u00e9n la econom\u00eda estadounidense en general.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Esta semana particip\u00e9 en una reuni\u00f3n de la Junta Asesora de Viajes y Turismo de EE.
