Las entrevistas se centraron en el futuro de la competencia de las aerol\u00edneas, los cielos abiertos, las cuestiones antimonopolio y las caracter\u00edsticas que cada director ejecutivo consideraba que diferenciaban a su aerol\u00ednea.<\/p>\n<p>El primero en llegar fue Gary Kelly, presidente de la junta directiva, presidente y director ejecutivo de Southwest Airlines. Charisse comenz\u00f3 directamente dirigi\u00e9ndose al elefante en la sala pregunt\u00e1ndole sobre la competencia de las aerol\u00edneas y la actual investigaci\u00f3n del Departamento de Justicia de Estados Unidos sobre una posible colusi\u00f3n por parte de aerol\u00edneas estadounidenses. A nadie le gustan las tarifas ocultas\u201d, dijo Kelly. \u201cQueremos que hacer negocios con ellos sea lo m\u00e1s sencillo, directo y agradable posible. Creemos que ganamos m\u00e1s clientes al no cobrar tarifas por equipaje. Creemos que perder\u00edamos mil millones de d\u00f3lares en ingresos despu\u00e9s de compensar las tarifas adicionales por bolsa si cambiamos nuestra pol\u00edtica. \u00bfQui\u00e9n no querr\u00eda ser el \u00fanico competidor que hace algo determinado? Creo que es un regalo. Amo a nuestros competidores por eso\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n, subi\u00f3 al escenario James Hogan, presidente y director ejecutivo de Etihad Airways. Charisse nuevamente empez\u00f3 fuerte preguntando sobre la disputa en torno a Cielos Abiertos.
