According to Earth.org, the average US consumer throws away 81.5 lbs of clothes each year! GBTA | WI would like to help reduce the amount of textiles ending up in landfills, so we have teamed up with The Milwaukee Ladies of Charity for a children’s clothing drive. Please bring new or gently used clothing for ages 3 to 18 and all adult sizes (for high school students) to our meeting. You will receive a raffle ticket for a drawing for every article donated.<\/p>\n
REMEMBER….don’t forget to bring your favorite water bottle in support of sustainability!<\/p>\n
