SUMMARY:Maximising Duty of Care: Choosing Your Safest “Last Mile” Option for Business Travel
DESCRIPTION:As business travel adapts to shifting economic conditions\, managed travel programmes must revise their policies to align with corporate objectives while addressing employee needs. GBTA\, in partnership with FREENOW for Business\, will present key findings from a recent survey of business travellers and travel managers across several European countries. This study examines the “last mile” duty of care—the final segment of a journey from a transportation hub to the destination—in four markets: Germany\, the United Kingdom\, Ireland\, and Spain. The webinar will address: \n• Corporate policies and challenges related to ground transport\n• Perceptions of how ground transport affects traveller safety\n• Preferences and views of business travellers regarding ground transport and last mile duty of care \n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nThis information will be particularly valuable for both buyers and suppliers. The webinar will provide insights into the changing landscape of ground transport safety\, the role of sustainability in the mobility ecosystem\, and how business travellers and travel managers perceive transportation options\, particularly concerning last mile transport. \n\nMark Sharoff\, Senior Research Manager\, GBTA \nMark Sharoff is a Senior Research Manager at GBTA\, responsible for researching and writing reports on a variety of industry topics. He has been with GBTA since 2014. He holds a Master’s degree from Georgetown University and a B.A. from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma\, WA. A native of Denver\, he is a big fan of sports and affordable restaurants. \n\nDaniel Barthuly\, Head of Business Travel\, FREENOW \nAs Head of Business Travel at FREENOW\, Daniel focuses on delivering a seamless\, customer-first experience. He works closely with global product\, tech\, and local operations teams across nine markets to drive innovation and boost user satisfaction. His deep interest in business travel stems from his time as an innovation consultant\, where frequent travel sparked his interest in the field. With five years at FREENOW\, Daniel has honed his expertise in ride-hailing through roles in Corporate Development & Operations. He believes that a dynamic marketplace product are the cornerstone of a reliable and safe service between both riders and drivers. \nMade possible by: \n \nRegistration is complimentary for all.

SUMMARY:Webinar - CO2 emissions display in the OBTs: Is the information good enough?
DESCRIPTION:Time:\n19 Apr 2023 14:00 CET 13:00 GMT \nFor a long time\, OBTs have used generic methodologies to calculate CO2 emissions at point of sale. While they allow to estimate the level of CO2 emissions\, these methodologies do not allow travelers to accurately compare several airlines on a same route\, and make educated choices on the greenest airline to use. At the same time\, travel buyers and travel managers improve the quality of the reporting to report on air CO emissions in a more granular way\, using different methodologies. Where do the key market leading OBTs stand today in terms of CO2 emissions display\, and what are they working on in terms of roadmap? Are there other solutions available today to nudge the travelers to greener behaviors\, thanks to improved information? Join us in this educational session where sustainability meets technology to build a greener program! \nModerators: \n\nAurélie Duprez\, Areka Consulting\nOlivier Benoit\, Advito\n\nSpeakers: \n\nSylvain Muller\, SAP Concur\nSarah Benarey\, eco.mio\nDaniel Senyard\, Shep\nOlivier Girault\, Amadeus\nColleen Black\, Tripkicks\nNina Birger\, chooose\nAlistair Leaman\, KDS\nBrett Dowling\, Sabre
