SUMMARY:Los Angeles Chapter - Sustainability in Today's Travel
DESCRIPTION:Why is our September meeting one of the most popular of the year? Because it overlaps with our (buyers only) all day Travel Managers Exchange Forum (TMEF). Buyers attending the (morning)TMEF session have a mid-day break where they join suppliers for this year’s sustainability focused lunch program\, after which they regroup for the post lunch TMEF session from 2:15 to 4:15pm.   Please encourage buyers who you know to attend our professional consultant-facilitated TMEF\, whether they’re an LABTA member or not\, they may register at a very favorable rate (buyers between employers may also attend). TMEF has been so popular through the years that it attracts many buyers who don’t regularly attend our monthly meetings. Buyers may register for TMEF which will include registration for our lunch program as outlined below. \nAll are encouraged to join us for our September lunch event and exciting panel discussion as we delve further into our industry’s commitment to the topic of sustainability. We’ll hear what our colleagues and partners have to say about their ongoing efforts to create a more sustainable existence for us all. \nOur panelists will include subject matter experts from American Airlines\, Alaska Airlines\, EHI Holdings\, and Motev. We are also excited and fortunate to have Will Tate from Goldspring Consulting as our panel moderator. \nReducing our global carbon footprint and creating a sustainable future for our families is a priority that we all should support! We hope you’ll join us in showing your continued support for the health and well-being of our planet by attending this insightful and thought-provoking program! \nNote that buyers who register for the Travel Managers Exchange Forum need not register separately for this lunch\, as their TMEF registration includes the lunch program. \nRegister today! \nGTP Credit Pending \nRegistration & Networking   11:30 am – 12:00 pm\nProgram & Lunch:              12:00 pm –   2:00 pm \nEvent Speaker \nWill Tate\, Goldspring Consulting \nLocation of Event \nCulver City\, CA \nVenue Information \nThe Shay\, 8801 Washington Blvd. Culver City\, CA 90232 \nPricing \nMember Ticket: $75.00 ($20 late fee after 10am 9/12)\nGuest Ticket: $100 ($20 late fee after 10am 9/12) \n
