Darren Hughes is the Bid Lead for the Salt Lake City-Utah Committee for the Games. Darren\u2019s role is to guide Utah’s ambition to host the 2030 or 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games through the IOC\u2019s Future Host Election Process.<\/p>\n
Darren is a leading expert in the bidding for and delivery of major events. Over the past 25 years, Darren has worked with the majority of major multi-sport bidders, event owners and organizers across myriad projects, with particular emphasis in the areas of bid management, people, and event planning.<\/p>\n
