Au cours des seuls derniers mois, nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 t\u00e9moins de la d\u00e9vastation totale caus\u00e9e par de multiples catastrophes naturelles \u00e0 Porto Rico, dans les \u00eeles Vierges, au Texas et en Californie. La question qui vient \u00e0 l&#039;esprit est la suivante : qu&#039;arrive-t-il \u00e0 vos employ\u00e9s en d\u00e9placement professionnel lorsqu&#039;un incident survient ?<\/p>\n<p>La coordination des efforts d&#039;intervention et de r\u00e9tablissement est l&#039;une des situations les plus complexes auxquelles une organisation peut faire face et r\u00e9it\u00e8re l&#039;importance cruciale d&#039;\u00eatre pr\u00e9par\u00e9 et d&#039;avoir un plan en place. La pr\u00e9sidente du comit\u00e9 des risques de GBTA, Erin Wilk, a r\u00e9cemment \u00e9t\u00e9 rejointe par George Taylor d&#039;iJET International et Nina Markowitz de Carnival Corporation &amp; plc, deux leaders de l&#039;industrie qui ont particip\u00e9 aux efforts d&#039;intervention et d&#039;\u00e9vacuation lors des r\u00e9cents ouragans.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s le passage des ouragans Harvey, Irma et Maria, la destruction \u00e9tait \u00e9vidente partout. Des maisons ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truites, les a\u00e9roports ont cess\u00e9 de fonctionner, les communications ont \u00e9t\u00e9 restreintes et les ressources gouvernementales limit\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rapidement \u00e9puis\u00e9es. Naviguer vers les zones touch\u00e9es pour les efforts de secours s&#039;av\u00e8re toujours un d\u00e9fi en raison de l&#039;infrastructure endommag\u00e9e, mais cette fois, Carnival est intervenu pour aider. Puisque Carnival est une entreprise priv\u00e9e, ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 l&#039;un des premiers navires ind\u00e9pendants \u00e0 entrer et \u00e0 aider aux efforts de secours.<\/p>\n<p>Nina a expliqu\u00e9 que parce qu&#039;ils \u00e9taient aptes \u00e0 g\u00e9rer la temp\u00eate et que leurs op\u00e9rations \u00e9taient peu affect\u00e9es, ils \u00e9taient en mesure d&#039;aider les autres. Carnival a travaill\u00e9 avec des entreprises du Fortune 500 pour identifier les employ\u00e9s concern\u00e9s et les sortir en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de situations pr\u00e9caires.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours de la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode, iJET International comptait pr\u00e8s de 900 employ\u00e9s clients touch\u00e9s par les catastrophes naturelles. La plupart des organisations avaient \u00e9labor\u00e9 des plans sur mesure pour att\u00e9nuer les risques (gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&#039;aide d&#039;iJET), mais comme beaucoup de choses, tous les plans ne sont pas infaillibles. En raison de l&#039;ampleur et du cycle de vie des ouragans, certains plans n&#039;\u00e9taient tout simplement pas viables. Comme l&#039;a dit George, &quot;Dans certains cas, des plans sont \u00e9labor\u00e9s pour identifier le probl\u00e8me, r\u00e9soudre le probl\u00e8me et ensuite r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer&quot; sur une p\u00e9riode d&#039;un \u00e0 deux jours. Dans ce cas, trois ouragans ont frapp\u00e9 diverses r\u00e9gions sur une p\u00e9riode de pr\u00e8s de 35 jours, rendant certains plans inutiles.<\/p>\n<p>C&#039;est pourquoi George dit qu&#039;il est toujours pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de se pr\u00e9parer au pire sc\u00e9nario et d&#039;\u00e9laborer des plans adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 long terme. De plus, il a soulign\u00e9 l&#039;importance de r\u00e9p\u00e9ter les plans bien \u00e0 l&#039;avance, de former pleinement les employ\u00e9s et de d\u00e9signer un chef qui est autoris\u00e9 \u00e0 intervenir en cas de catastrophe. Erin a sugg\u00e9r\u00e9 de travailler avec un fournisseur de risques int\u00e9gr\u00e9s, car ils ont \u00e9tabli les relations n\u00e9cessaires pour g\u00e9rer les cons\u00e9quences de ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements. Comme elle l&#039;a dit, \u00ab Passer un coup de fil \u00e0 un \u00e9tranger n&#039;apportera pas \u00e0 vos employ\u00e9s le soutien dont ils ont besoin lorsqu&#039;une crise se produit r\u00e9ellement.<\/p>\n<p>[perfectpullquote align=\u201dfull\u201d cite=\u201d\u201d link=\u201d\u201d color=\u201d\u201d class=\u201d\u201d size=\u201d\u201d]<em>Lorsque ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements se produisent et que ces catastrophes surviennent, plus que souvent, vos employ\u00e9s vivent probablement d&#039;autres choses dans d&#039;autres parties du monde li\u00e9es \u00e0 la criminalit\u00e9, \u00e0 l&#039;instabilit\u00e9 politique, au terrorisme ou aux troubles civils.
