La s\u00fbret\u00e9 et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sont les pierres angulaires des voyages d&#039;affaires et \u00e0 la suite des attentats du 11 septembre, le Congr\u00e8s a institu\u00e9 des frais, actuellement de $5,60 par vol ou $11,20 par aller-retour, pour aider \u00e0 compenser les co\u00fbts de la nouvelle TSA d&#039;alors et \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger le public. en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, dans le cadre des deux derniers accords budg\u00e9taires du Congr\u00e8s en 2014 et 2017, le Congr\u00e8s a vot\u00e9 pour retirer de l&#039;argent de ce fonds afin de l&#039;utiliser pour la r\u00e9duction du budget f\u00e9d\u00e9ral. Si la loi actuelle n\u2019est pas modifi\u00e9e, plus de $19 milliards au total seront d\u00e9tourn\u00e9s d\u2019ici 2027. Cela signifie moins d\u2019argent pour la TSA et moins d\u2019argent pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 globale.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame si la r\u00e9duction du d\u00e9ficit g\u00e9n\u00e9ral est un objectif louable, nous ne pensons pas que cela doive se faire au d\u00e9triment des voyageurs d&#039;affaires et au d\u00e9triment de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Les voyageurs d&#039;affaires veulent et m\u00e9ritent un r\u00e9seau de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 a\u00e9rienne s\u00fbr et flexible. La mission de la TSA est importante et par cons\u00e9quent, la totalit\u00e9 des frais de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du 11 septembre devrait \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour d\u00e9placer les passagers de mani\u00e8re s\u00fbre et efficace aux points de contr\u00f4le de la TSA. La GBTA et ses membres estiment que le Congr\u00e8s devrait <em>seulement<\/em> utiliser les fonds des frais de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du 11 septembre collect\u00e9s dans le but de financer les programmes de la TSA.<\/p>\n<p>Y a-t-il une solution \u00e0 cela ? Oui, cela s&#039;appelle FASTER ACT, abr\u00e9viation de The Funding for Aviation Screeners and Threat Elimination Restoration Act.
