Veiller \u00e0 ce que les frais de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des passagers soient uniquement consacr\u00e9s \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 a\u00e9rienne et au financement des programmes de la TSA visant \u00e0 fournir un r\u00e9seau a\u00e9rien s\u00fbr et flexible aux voyageurs d&#039;affaires. \u00c0 moins que la loi actuelle ne soit modifi\u00e9e, plus de 1,4 milliard de dollars au total seront d\u00e9tourn\u00e9s de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 a\u00e9rienne d\u2019ici 2027 pour r\u00e9duire le d\u00e9ficit national.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Renforcer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 nationale et d\u00e9velopper les voyages internationaux\u00a0: <\/strong>L&#039;\u00e9tablissement d&#039;un processus permettant \u00e0 davantage de pays qualifi\u00e9s de rejoindre le programme d&#039;exemption de visa encouragera davantage de visiteurs internationaux, fera cro\u00eetre l&#039;\u00e9conomie am\u00e9ricaine et cr\u00e9era des emplois, tout en am\u00e9liorant la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 nationale et la diplomatie. Les \u00c9tats-Unis ont accueilli environ 20 millions de voyageurs du programme d&#039;exemption de visa au cours de l&#039;exercice 2014 qui, selon le minist\u00e8re du Commerce, ont inject\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de $231 millions par jour dans les \u00e9conomies locales \u00e0 travers le pays. La GBTA exhorte le Congr\u00e8s \u00e0 adopter la loi JOLT.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Soutenir un groupe de travail sur le transport terrestre dans les a\u00e9roports\u00a0: <\/strong>Cr\u00e9er un groupe de travail f\u00e9d\u00e9ral sur les transports terrestres qui offrira aux acteurs du transport terrestre la possibilit\u00e9 de s&#039;exprimer au nom de leurs entreprises et de la communaut\u00e9 des voyages d&#039;affaires.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Il ne fait aucun doute que les voyages d&#039;affaires sont essentiels \u00e0 notre \u00e9conomie : chaque augmentation de 1 % des d\u00e9penses li\u00e9es aux voyages d&#039;affaires cr\u00e9e 74 000 emplois suppl\u00e9mentaires, soit pr\u00e8s de $5,5 milliards de PIB et $3,3 milliards de salaires. Nous avons besoin que les l\u00e9gislateurs adoptent des politiques qui soutiennent nos voyageurs d\u2019affaires et aident notre industrie \u00e0 se d\u00e9velopper. Je suis heureux de voir autant de membres se rendre \u00e0 Washington pour d\u00e9fendre notre industrie et partager leurs histoires avec leurs repr\u00e9sentants \u00e9lus.<\/p>\n<p>Le sommet l\u00e9gislatif a d\u00e9but\u00e9 par une journ\u00e9e compl\u00e8te de discussions avec des l\u00e9gislateurs de premier plan, des initi\u00e9s de l&#039;industrie et des strat\u00e8ges politiques sur les principales questions li\u00e9es aux voyages.<\/p>\n<p>Les participants ont entendu plusieurs membres du Congr\u00e8s, dont Garret Graves (R-LA), qui ont discut\u00e9 de l&#039;importance de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 a\u00e9rienne et des investissements dans les infrastructures. John Katko, (R-NY), deux fois laur\u00e9at du GBTA Navigator Award et co-sponsor du FASTER Act (HR 1171), a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 aux participants que les frais de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du 11 septembre ne devraient pas \u00eatre d\u00e9tourn\u00e9s vers d&#039;autres choses, ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 salu\u00e9 par des applaudissements. car il s&#039;agit d&#039;une pr\u00e9occupation constante pour l&#039;industrie du voyage d&#039;affaires.
