La r\u00e8gle obligeait les compagnies a\u00e9riennes \u00e0 utiliser un minimum de 80% de leurs cr\u00e9neaux de d\u00e9collage et d&#039;atterrissage afin de les s\u00e9curiser pour l&#039;ann\u00e9e suivante, ce qui impose des charges financi\u00e8res suppl\u00e9mentaires aux compagnies a\u00e9riennes. \u00c0 la lumi\u00e8re de la pand\u00e9mie actuelle de Covid-19 et de l&#039;incertitude persistante, GBTA, ainsi que d&#039;autres associations et d&#039;autres associations de compagnies a\u00e9riennes, ont fait pression sur l&#039;UE pour apporter cette modification temporaire \u00e0 la d\u00e9cision.<\/p>\n<p>Suite \u00e0 un accord conclu la semaine derni\u00e8re par les 27 \u00c9tats membres de l&#039;UE, le Parlement europ\u00e9en a vot\u00e9 lors de sa toute premi\u00e8re session \u00e0 distance \u00e0 Bruxelles pour suspendre la r\u00e8gle des cr\u00e9neaux horaires de l&#039;UE. La derni\u00e8re fois que l&#039;UE a d\u00e9rog\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e8gle des cr\u00e9neaux horaires dans les a\u00e9roports, c&#039;\u00e9tait en 2009, \u00e0 la suite de la crise financi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Les vols europ\u00e9ens ont chut\u00e9 de 60% la semaine derni\u00e8re et nous avons commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 voir plusieurs grandes compagnies a\u00e9riennes europ\u00e9ennes oblig\u00e9es d&#039;immobiliser leurs flottes.
