Comme vous vous en souvenez peut-\u00eatre, j&#039;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 au TTAB au nom de la GBTA plus t\u00f4t cette ann\u00e9e. Au cours de la r\u00e9union, quatre sous-comit\u00e9s ont fait des recommandations au Conseil sur la base de nos derniers mois de recherche et de travail.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TTABpic1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-589\" alt=\"TTABpic1\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TTABpic1-e1416597906613-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>En tant que copr\u00e9sident du sous-comit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es et statistiques et pr\u00e9sident <a title=\"Associ\u00e9s Runyan\" href=\"http:\/\/www.deanrunyan.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Doyen Runyan de Runyan Associates<\/a>, nous proposons des recommandations li\u00e9es aux voyages internationaux aux \u00c9tats-Unis. Quelques faits simples mais essentiels pour vous aider \u00e0 comprendre pourquoi c\u2019est si important\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$890 milliards sont d\u00e9pens\u00e9s pour les voyages et le tourisme aux \u00c9tats-Unis<\/li>\n<li>Pr\u00e8s de 25 pour cent de ce montant est imputable aux voyages internationaux<\/li>\n<li>Ce voyage international soutient directement <b>1,2 million d&#039;emplois am\u00e9ricains<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TTABpic2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-590\" alt=\"TTABpic2\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/TTABpic2-e1416597937520-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Afin de continuer \u00e0 accro\u00eetre encore davantage ces chiffres impressionnants, nous devons collectivement faire un meilleur travail de collecte de donn\u00e9es, mesurer notre efficacit\u00e9 et orienter le pouvoir de marketing collectif de notre industrie.<\/p>\n<p>Notre sous-comit\u00e9 s&#039;est concentr\u00e9 sur l&#039;am\u00e9lioration de l&#039;enqu\u00eate du D\u00e9partement am\u00e9ricain du Commerce sur les voyageurs a\u00e9riens internationaux (SIAT). Le SIAT b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u00e9j\u00e0 d&#039;un large soutien, car notre gouvernement et l&#039;industrie s&#039;appuient sur ses donn\u00e9es pour raconter leur histoire, prendre des d\u00e9cisions et montrer un retour sur investissement \u00e0 tous ses constituants. Cette recherche primaire est vitale pour tous les \u00c9tats, les organisations de marketing de destination et les entreprises qui se consacrent et investissent dans cette industrie.<\/p>\n<p>Avec juste un investissement modeste dans le SIAT, nous pourrions augmenter la taille de l\u2019\u00e9chantillon des voyageurs internationaux interrog\u00e9s. Notre objectif est de faire passer l\u2019\u00e9chantillon actuel de 0,2 pour cent de voyageurs internationaux \u00e0 1,0 pour cent. Ce petit pas pourrait faire une r\u00e9elle diff\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n<p>Nous esp\u00e9rons prot\u00e9ger les 2,0 millions de $ existants allou\u00e9s au SIAT et investir un modeste 1,5 million de $ suppl\u00e9mentaire pour financer davantage l&#039;\u00e9tude et tester les recommandations afin d&#039;optimiser la mani\u00e8re dont nous collectons ces donn\u00e9es critiques.
