L&#039;un des faits saillants d&#039;aujourd&#039;hui a \u00e9t\u00e9 une pr\u00e9sentation g\u00e9n\u00e9rale du vice-pr\u00e9sident de la recherche de GBTA, Joe Bates, qui a parl\u00e9 de l&#039;impact \u00e9conomique des voyages d&#039;affaires sur l&#039;\u00e9conomie canadienne.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Blackwell de <em>Le Globe and Mail<\/em> a couru une grande histoire <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/report-on-business\/business-travel-props-up-economy-with-235-billion-and-deep-supply-chain\/article24048525\/\">couvrant aujourd&#039;hui les faits saillants de l&#039;\u00e9tude<\/a> et l&#039;importance continue des r\u00e9unions en personne.<\/p>\n<p>Le rapport, <em>L&#039;industrie canadienne des voyages d&#039;affaires : l&#039;impact des voyages d&#039;affaires sur l&#039;emploi et l&#039;\u00e9conomie canadienne<\/em>, est sponsoris\u00e9 par Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) et a montr\u00e9 que <strong>les d\u00e9penses de voyages d&#039;affaires au Canada en 2013 ont atteint $23,5 milliards, ce qui en fait 1,5 % du PIB canadien<\/strong>. Les voyages d&#039;affaires stimulent la croissance des entreprises et rien ne peut remplacer les interactions en face \u00e0 face lorsqu&#039;il s&#039;agit de faire des affaires.<\/p>\n<p><strong>En chiffres \u2013 Voici cinq points cl\u00e9s\u00a0:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>L&#039;\u00e9tude d&#039;impact a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les entreprises ont envoy\u00e9 des voyageurs sur la route pour 35,8 millions de voyages et que l&#039;industrie du voyage d&#039;affaires soutient 434 000 emplois, $16,9 milliards de salaires et traitements et g\u00e9n\u00e8re $8,6 milliards d&#039;imp\u00f4ts.<\/li>\n<li>Les voyages d&#039;affaires au Canada ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 hauteur de $27,2 milliards au PIB canadien \u2013 pratiquement chaque dollar d\u00e9pens\u00e9 en voyages d&#039;affaires a g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 environ $1,16 au PIB.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/CanadaEcoImpact3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-808\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/CanadaEcoImpact3-300x179.jpg\" alt=\"CanadaEcoImpact3\" width=\"300\" height=\"179\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>En 2013, les voyageurs d&#039;affaires au Canada ont d\u00e9pens\u00e9 en moyenne $656 par voyage, dont $131 en h\u00e9bergement, $75 en billets d&#039;avion, $12 en location de voitures, $100 en restauration et $8 en divertissement.<\/li>\n<li>Plus de 60 % de tous les voyages d&#039;affaires au Canada \u00e9taient soit \u00e0 destination ou \u00e0 l&#039;int\u00e9rieur de l&#039;Ontario ou du Qu\u00e9bec, Toronto et Montr\u00e9al \u00e9tant les deux march\u00e9s de destination les plus populaires dans ces provinces.
