Les entretiens ont port\u00e9 sur l&#039;avenir de la concurrence a\u00e9rienne, Open Skies, les questions antitrust et les caract\u00e9ristiques qui, selon chaque PDG, distinguent leur compagnie a\u00e9rienne.<\/p>\n<p>Le premier \u00e9tait Gary Kelly, pr\u00e9sident du conseil d&#039;administration, pr\u00e9sident et chef de la direction de Southwest Airlines. Charisse a commenc\u00e9 tout de suite \u00e0 s&#039;adresser \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9l\u00e9phant dans la salle en posant des questions sur la concurrence des compagnies a\u00e9riennes et l&#039;enqu\u00eate en cours du minist\u00e8re am\u00e9ricain de la Justice sur une \u00e9ventuelle collusion des compagnies a\u00e9riennes am\u00e9ricaines. Gary a r\u00e9pondu que toutes les accusations de collusion \u00e9taient fausses et que Southwest se conformait au DOJ et se conformait pleinement \u00e0 toutes les lois antitrust.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Blog_GarySouthwest.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1115\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.gbta.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Blog_GarySouthwest-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Blog_GarySouthwest\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Gary a ensuite parl\u00e9 de la croissance de la compagnie a\u00e9rienne, d&#039;\u00eatre un non-conformiste dans l&#039;industrie et de savoir si l&#039;effet sud-ouest sur les tarifs existe toujours avant de dire au public pourquoi sa compagnie a\u00e9rienne ne le fait toujours pas et n&#039;a pas l&#039;intention de facturer des frais de bagages.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Personne n&#039;aime les app\u00e2ts et les interrupteurs. Personne n&#039;aime les frais cach\u00e9s \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Kelly. \u00ab Nous voulons \u00eatre aussi simples et directs et agr\u00e9ables que possible avec qui faire affaire. Nous avons l&#039;impression de gagner plus de clients en ne facturant pas les frais de sac. Nous pensons que nous perdrions un milliard de dollars de revenus apr\u00e8s avoir d\u00e9duit les frais de bagages suppl\u00e9mentaires si nous changions notre politique. Qui ne voudrait pas \u00eatre le seul concurrent \u00e0 faire une certaine chose\u00a0? Je pense que c&#039;est un cadeau. J&#039;aime nos concurrents pour cela.<\/p>\n<p>Ensuite, James Hogan, pr\u00e9sident et chef de la direction d&#039;Etihad Airways, est mont\u00e9 sur sc\u00e8ne. Charisse a de nouveau commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 poser des questions sur le diff\u00e9rend concernant Open Skies.
