GBTA Canada Ready. Safe. Travel. Workshop Series is a one-day workshop taking place in the cities of Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, and Calgary.

The program will be replicated in each city, delivering a full and comprehensive day of workshop sessions that will focus on stakeholder collaboration and how it helps shape corporate travel and meetings policies of the future. Designed to understand the changes that have occurred from the pandemic, deconstruct aspects of the typical travel and meetings policy, then rebuild applicable components by engaging your key stakeholders. Internal stakeholders, such as; Executives, Human Resources, Risk, Security, Finance, IT, Legal, or Travelling Employees.  External stakeholders, such as; travel suppliers, airlines, hotels, car rental, travel management companies, travel technology companies, etc.  All stakeholders are important to engage for an appropriate collaborative policy of the future.

Throughout this full-day workshop, we will examine the 6 key areas of Stakeholder Engagement, Risk Mitigation, Technology Applicability, Budget Assessment, Supplier Effectiveness and Traveller Experience, to breakdown what is no longer appliable, then rebuild these aspects so your company, travellers and policy can accurately reflect the best travel and meetings practices and for the post-pandemic future.

The past 18+ months has forced a re-set, breaking down the siloed work approach while enforcing the importance of a collaborative environment.  As a result, key stakeholders play an important role in contributing to the policy of the future.  At the end of this workshop, you will walk away with policy components that you can immediately implement within your organization.
