State Street, SLC UT<br \/>\n11am-1pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suzanne Neufang &#8211; GBTA CEO<\/strong><br \/>\nSuzanne Neufang was named CEO of GBTA in February 2021, where she leads the association\u2019s mission, strategy, and programs to benefit stakeholders across the global<br \/>\nShe is a transformation-focused executive who has led product, service and organizational innovation through times of great change \u2013 \u201cconnecting dots\u201d across geographies, functions, people, and results. She&#8217;s held leadership roles within the travel industry for the past 20 years, including at HRS, GetThere, Travelocity and Sabre. Before travel, she was a leader in tech and telecom industries at Intuit, Verizon, and GTE. She\u2019s been an active volunteer in the travel industry, including serving as board president of the former Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE).<br \/>\nSuzanne holds a masters degree from the University of Hawaii, and a bachelors degree from Minot State University in North Dakota. She and her husband, Ralf, live in New York City, and have two grown sons.<\/p>\n<p>Fun fact: Suzanne has visited over 40 countries on her professional and personal travels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Angela Swoveland &#8211; Relations and Strategy manager<\/strong><br \/>\nAngela Swoveland passion for GBTA has cultivated through her Chapter experience serving on the Membership Committee, as Treasurer and as President for the Baltimore Washington Chapter. During her Chairman term she led the taskforce to combine the Northern Virginia and Baltimore Washington Chapters into what is now the Greater DC Metro Chapter. She has also served as Secretary\/Treasurer of GBTA\u2019s Chapter President\u2019s Council Leadership. She now assists aspiring GBTA Leaders in her role at GBTA as Manager, Volunteer Relations and Strategy.<br \/>\nPrior to joining GBTA staff, Angela was a passionate hotelier with over 20 years\u2019 experience in hospitality sales primarily focused on the Business Travel segment.<br \/>\nAngela holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration and an Associate\u2019s degree in Travel and Tourism Management.
