Jet fuel prices have roughly doubled since the start of the war in Iran, a price increase even sharper than the spikes seen in gasoline and diesel.

In response, airlines around the world are cutting routes, raising fares, adding fuel surcharges and boosting baggage fees.

Running on Tuesdays from April 28 to May 19, this four-week program equips you to confidently own the business travel management function at your organization, from developing an efficient travel policy to overseeing vendor and technology procurement. Modules cover travel policy, service models, strategic sourcing, travel technology, data and analytics, and risk management. You'll earn a GBTA Professional Development Certificate on completion, and GTP holders receive 14 GTP® Recertification credits.

Now Available: Updated Global Hotel RFP Standards Catalogue

GBTA has released the updated Global Hotel RFP Standards to simplify corporate hotel sourcing and align with GBTA’s Sustainable Procurement Standards (People + Planet). The update introduces streamlined questions and data formats, incorporates sustainability guidance, and establishes an ongoing feedback process to support future improvements across the industry. 

Industry participants are encouraged to get involved by downloading the standards, applying to the regional  Accommodations Committee, and submitting feedback to help shape future enhancements.
