Sue Spear
Director of Travel
Fleet & Facility Services at Cengage Group

Sue Spear is the Director of Corporate Travel, Fleet & Facility Services at Cengage Group, an education and technology company built for learners. The company serves the higher education, K-12, professional, library, and workforce training markets worldwide.

In her role, Sue oversees a global travel management program with nearly $20 million in annual travel spend. She leads the strategic planning and execution of initiatives to establish best-in-class travel policies for Cengage’s 5,000 employees worldwide. Her responsibilities include managing all vendor negotiations for airline, rental car, hotel, and corporate card programs, as well as overseeing the implementation and operation of an online booking tool and managing the company’s fleet vehicle program. She also leads efforts in travel agency data consolidation, global travel reporting, and traveler safety and security.

In addition to her travel and fleet responsibilities, Sue manages Facility Services, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and a high-quality workplace experience for employees.

Sue holds a Certified Travel Expert (CTE) designation and serves on both the GBTA Canada and Delta Air France KLM Canada Advisory Boards.
