The Rise of the ‘Anywhere Worker’

One in four business travellers say their companies allow them to work from anywhere.

The trend of the ‘anywhere worker’ is gaining momentum, according to a recent Opinium survey of 2,000 business travellers in the UK, the US, Canada and Australia.

The survey, commissioned by World Travel Protection, a global travel risk management organisation, revealed that 34% of business travellers want the flexibility to work from any location. Furthermore, 17% even identify as an ‘anywhere worker’.

Safety, Sustainability and Cost Drive Today’s Business Travel Ground Transportation Strategies, According to New Research from GBTA and NLA

In a new study, GBTA and the National Limousine Association (NLA) have explored how corporate travel programs manage and maintain ground transportation policies and determined it’s becoming increasingly important for travel managers to think strategically when implementing effective policies and processes that reduce risk, promote employee satisfaction and limit cost and carbon emissions.

Based on a survey of U.S. and Canada-based travel managers, the report, “In the Fast Lane: How Do Travel Programs Manage Ground Transportation?” provides critical insights into how companies are managing ground transportation amidst a rapidly changing business travel landscape. The new study delves into the current state of ground transportation within corporate travel programs while also highlighting key trends, challenges and best practices for optimizing this essential component of business travel that can also easily be an overlooked source of risk, cost and traveler dissatisfaction.
