Key Trends for Travel and Expense in 2022: France Highlights

As business travel rebounds in France, travel and expense policies will lead the way as corporations navigate new, unfamiliar paths. Technology will drive companies’ ability to manage changes — and just as importantly, communicate those changes to enable employee compliance. Doing so will be critical in creating revenue opportunities through business travel and maximizing profitability through corporate cards and expense management.

EU Moving To Drop Pre-Travel COVID Testing Requirements for Travelers

European Union member countries are recommending countries eliminate pre-departure COVID-19 testing and quarantine procedures for travelers who are fully vaccinated. Starting March 1, 2022, the European Council advised people who received vaccines authorized in the EU be able to enter the EU without prior testing if they received the last dose of their primary vaccination series at least 14 days and no more than 270 days before arrival.

JPMorgan Chase To Buy Frosch

JPMorgan Chase agreed to acquire Frosch, a large travel agency with a mix of corporate business, independent contractors and technology, according to a Wednesday report in The Beat. Frosch officials declined to comment on the report, which cited an internal memo, but redirected an inquiry to a spokesperson for JPMorgan Chase. The official had not responded by press time Thursday morning.
