The COVID-19 pandemic has had a severe impact on airlines and the aviation industry as a whole. The recovery has been slower than first expected and, while many are eager to start traveling again, the question continues to be asked is it safe to get back on an airplane? Boeing in response has launched the Confident Travel Initiative and is working across the industry with airlines, health organizations, regulators, industry associations, and other manufacturers to address these concerns and reassure travelers it is safe to fly.
