GBTA Foundation Reports Progress Under its Commitment to the Glasgow Declaration

Officially launched at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in November 2021, the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism unites travel and tourism behind a common set of pathways for climate action, aligning the sector with global commitments and catalyzing collaborative solutions to the many challenges facing businesses and destinations globally.

In October 2022, the GBTA Foundation became a signatory of the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism. As one of the 230 supporting partners, GBTA’s commitment is to champion climate action in business travel, through capacity building, industry alignment, and advocacy. At the end of last year, we released our action plan to drive impact based on the 5 pillars of the Glasgow Declaration: Measure, Decarbonize, Regenerate, Collaborate, and Finance.
