GBTA Announces Newly Elected Members to Global Board of Directors at GBTA Convention 2018

Alexandria, VA (August 23, 2018) – The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) – the voice of the global business travel industry – announced four newly elected members to its Global Board of Directors following the election last week during GBTA Convention 2018.

“We look forward to welcoming – or welcoming back in some cases – these individuals to the Global Board of Directors, and thank all of the volunteers who serve on this Board for their dedication and commitment to the future success of GBTA,” said GBTA President Christle Johnson.

The winners of the three open Direct Member at Large positions are Tricia Alsup, Travel Manager, Dollar General; Kathy Briski, Travel Category Manager, The Boeing Company; and Erin Wilk, Global Security Travel Safety Manager, Facebook, Inc. Briski and Wilk return to the Board after being appointed to fill vacant slots in 2017, while Alsup joins the Board for the first time.

The winner of the open Allied Member at Large position is Doug Payne, Senior Vice President – Corporate Sales, ALTOUR. Payne has previously served two terms on the Board from 2011-2015.

They join the following returning Board Members to make up the 2018-2019 Global Board of Directors:
