What to Expect

Learners should expect to spend up to 2 hours per week on course pre-work. The virtual classes are engaging, on-camera sessions combining lectures and discussions with a focus on weekly modules. At the end of the course, participants will be emailed an electronic Certificate of Completion. Learners are required to attend each live session over the four (4) week period.

GTP holders will earn 14 GTP® Recertification credits.

Koreen Barbara is responsible for managing the McDonald’s Travel Program. Traveler experience is at the forefront of all her work ensuring the right technology, solutions and suppliers are available to meet the demands of the modern business traveler today and tomorrow.

Her career covers more than 23 years in the travel industry gaining experience and insights across the globe working in Australia, London, Chicago and now Singapore. She has had much success in managing global and regional travel programs delivering value, transformation, innovation and focusing on continuous evolution.

Kenji has close to 15 years of experience in the travel industry, most notably spearheading strategic travel management at world-leading financial service and consulting companies. Having started his career in Aviation and currently the Southeast Asia General Manager for FCM, he brings about a blend of experience across the corporate travel spectrum.

A strong advocate for the industry and talent development, he is part of the GBTA APAC Advisory Board and active in nurturing future talents.

Simone Buckley

Simone has a wealth of experience in the corporate travel sector having previously held roles on both the buyer and supplier side of the industry. Most notably she held the CEO position at ITM (Institute of Travel Management), for seven years where she was responsible for the commercial and strategic success of the association. The ITM is the UK partner of GBTA (Global Business Travel Association).

Currently based in London, UK, Simone started her career in business travel nearly 30 years ago as a reservations agent and has subsequently worked in a variety of roles across both national and global Travel Management Companies holding senior positions at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, TripActons and Fello.

In 2016, Simone was inducted into the AWTE Influential Women in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality honors list.
