Sustainability and Travel

Please join us on Wednesday, November 13th, at the Milwaukee Marriott Downtown to learn about Sustainability in Business Travel!

According to Earth.org, the average US consumer throws away 81.5 lbs of clothes each year! GBTA | WI would like to help reduce the amount of textiles ending up in landfills, so we have teamed up with The Milwaukee Ladies of Charity for a children’s clothing drive. Please bring new or gently used clothing for ages 3 to 18 and all adult sizes (for high school students) to our meeting. You will receive a raffle ticket for a drawing for every article donated.

REMEMBER….don’t forget to bring your favorite water bottle in support of sustainability!

We are thrilled to welcome Marianne Balfe, Vice-President of Sustainability at Highgate, as our Guest Speaker!

We will also have a presentation from Delta Air Lines, Henry Barrera, on Sustainable Aviation Fuels.

We will accomplish our objectives through education, research, and the implementation of water projects that are valuable for individuals, local communities, and the organizations that support them.
