Dave Hilfman’s Monday Memo to GBTA Members
It was a pleasure to have so many of you join us for GBTA’s Annual Business Meeting last week. We covered an immense amount of information, in a short time. And of course, the meeting wouldn’t have been complete without a technology hiccup – something that has become synonymous with 2020. Luckily it was minor, and it provided a jump start to my day!
During the meeting we announced the results of our recent board elections and the addition of new board members (see more details below). One of the highlights of the meeting was the presentation of the association’s top awards. Congratulations to all these well-deserved recipients.

Submit an Education Session Proposal
GBTA is now accepting proposals for education sessions at GBTA Convention 2021 in Orlando, FL from July 17-21. Our tradition of delivering the best education on the topics most relevant to business travel is only made possible by your participation.
We are seeking industry professionals to contribute new ideas, solutions, and innovations for current issues and challenges that confront the travel industry. Now more than ever, content focused on the industry’s recovery will be critical. Our highest-rated presenters have challenged conventional wisdom and have been willing to share real “lessons learned.”
The deadline to submit an education session proposal is January 8, 2021.
