Video Contest Ends Tomorrow: Enter to Win a $1,000 GBTA Scholarship

Do you want to win a $1,000 GBTA scholarship to use towards your Convention 2021 registration, or maybe one of the many educational sessions GBTA offers?

If so, you have until tomorrow, December 11 to enter our “Ready. Safe. Travel.” video contest.

GBTA launched the “Ready. Safe. Travel.” campaign last month to bring attention to the fact that our industry represents millions of jobs and $1.45 trillion dollars globally and to push for a safe return to business travel.

Grab your smartphone and shoot an informal, fun 15-30 second video saying what “Ready. Safe. Travel.” means to you. When you submit your video by this Friday, you’re automatically entered to win one of the $1,000 GBTA scholarships – it’s that simple.

Women in Technology

Monday, December 14 | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM ET

According to McKinsey & Company, a reputable global consulting firm, companies with the largest representation of women on executive committees perform significantly better than companies with no women at the top. Did you also know that women make 70% of all travel-buying decisions? Therefore, it only makes sense that travel companies would benefit from a leadership team mirroring their greatest consumer. Connect with us to hear Arlene Coyle, a senior executive in travel technology at Amadeus, discuss her career journey and the importance of women securing influential leadership roles.

Speakers:

  • Dave Hilfman, Interim Executive Director, GBTA
