Travel Risk Management (TRM) in a Post-COVID World: Best Practices, Policies, and the Travel Manager’s Role

Even as the COVID-19 pandemic has ended, Travel Risk Management (TRM) remains a priority in the business travel industry. This webinar combines GBTA research results with commentary from a TRM expert, Ray Rackham, SVP, Thought Leadership, Advocacy & Public Policy from CIBT. Based on a survey of travel managers worldwide, it addresses several topics including:
-Post-COVID change: Is TRM a greater priority post-COVID? Are companies investing more money in TRM? Are internal staff spending more time working on TRM?
-Travel program involvement: Which internal department typically “owns” the TRM program? How often do travel programs “own” various TRM functions including overall strategy, communication, pre-trip approvals, vendor management, and incident response?
-Best practices: How often do companies follow TRM best practices? Examples include analyzing the company’s “risk profile,” reviewing the program at regular intervals, having in place clearly defined communication protocols, and practicing incident response.
