GBTA Launches New Podcast: The Business of Travel
Alexandria, VA (March 7, 2018) – Today, the Global Business Travel Association, the voice of the global business travel industry, launched an all-new podcast called The Business of Travel. The podcast will consist of weekly episodes featuring several industry experts and thought leaders on a range of key issues affecting the business travel industry.
In the coming months, The Business of Travel will cover business travel’s role in employee recruitment and retention, the business travel experience, travel friction, travel technology, aviation regulations, Brexit’s impact on business travel and more.
In the inaugural episode, GBTA takes on duty of care. Mike McCormick, Executive Director and COO for GBTA, sets the stage highlighting the current state of the industry and discussing what we hear from GBTA members when it comes to duty of care. Next up, Mike Koetting, Executive Vice President of Supplier and TMC Services for Concur, touches on the implications of booking behavior when it comes to keeping travelers safe. Finally, Erin Wilk, Global Security Travel Safety Manager for Facebook, talks about best practices for building a strong travel safety program and where buyers can turn to for resources.
