GBTA Strengthens Advisory Board in Latin America with Appointment of New Regional Board Members 

The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), the world’s premier trade association serving the business travel industry, has reinforced its presence in Latin America, announcing several new appointments to its LATAM Advisory Board for the 2023-2025 term.  
 
The new Board appointments follow the continuity of the path, efforts and results made by the region’s first Advisory Board of volunteer professionals serving from 2021 to 2023 who helped lead the success of two regional Conferences, Education Days, multiple learning webinars and Business Travel Forums held in Brazil, Mexico and Argentina. 
 
“Volunteers are essential to the success of GBTA and with this recently appointed LATAM Advisory Board, we will continue to serve alongside key professionals working in the local business travel industry to address and support the specific needs of the region. The LATAM Advisory Board is part of GBTA’s objective to address the necessities and challenges relevant specifically for Latin America and to continue to connect local uses to global perspectives,” said Candela Fernández Wyngaard, Regional Director, GBTA Latin America.

GBTA’s Advisory Boards are run by member volunteers, selected for their expertise and industry knowledge. The role of the Advisory Board is to help shape and guide the strategy of GBTA Latin America, working closely with the GBTA leadership team.
