The GBTA is proud to host the 22nd  Annual GBTA US Chapter Leadership Summit! This event brings over 200 US Chapter volunteer leaders from across the country for 2 days of learning including professional development, networking and collaboration to enhance GBTA’s 38 US Chapter organizations.

This event is open to all GBTA Chapter Board Members, Chapter Committee members, and invited guests. All registrants will be quality checked to ensure you fit within one of these categories Any Registrations not fitting these roles will be cancelled and refunded.

Cancellation Policy:

  • All cancellation requests must be made in writing to GBTA at eventsupport@gbta.org
  • Cancellations are accepted until January 19, 2026.
  • A full refund less a $75 administrative fee will be given for cancellations.
  • No refunds will be given after January 19, 2026.
  • There are no refunds for “no shows.”
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.


Substitution Policy:

  • A GBTA attendee may transfer his/her registration to another eligible party if he/she is unable to attend. 
  • All substitution requests must be made in writing to GBTA at eventsupport@gbta.org and handled on the backend of the registration system.
  • The substitute is responsible for any and all financial arrangements between the original registrant and the substitute.

The hotel does not offer an airport or Local Shuttle, so please arrange your own transportation to and from the hotel. 
The hotel is located approximately, 7.5 miles from Miami International Airport (MIA) and 25 miles from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International (FLL) Airport.

This event is business casual.  Please keep in mind, temperatures in the meeting rooms can fluctuate, so for those who tend to get cold, a light sweater or jacket is recommended.  

There will be charging stations located at the back of the general session. This is available on a first come first serve basis. Please be considerate and remove items once they have charged. You will need to bring your own charging cords. GBTA nor Marriott Biscayne Bay will be responsible for lost or misplaced items at the charging station.

Temperatures in the Miami area historically around these dates is between 66-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Please be sure to check the latest weather prior to your departure.

Registration hours will be from 11AM to 4PM on Monday, February 2nd, 2026. Registration will be located right outside the general session room, in the Grand Ballroom Pre Function on the 3rd Floor. If you arrive after registration hours, please see a GBTA Staff member to obtain your badge.
