GBTA Named Honorable Mention Recipient in Prestigious Ragan PR Daily Awards in Two Categories: Media Day and Redesigned Website
Alexandria, VA (June 17, 2019) — The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), the voice of the global business travel industry, has been named an honorable mention recipient in Ragan’s 2018 PR Daily Awards in the Press Event or Media Tour category for its Media Day and in the Website category for its Redesigned Website.
Ragan Communications and PR Daily run 11 awards programs each year, including the Video & Visual Awards, the Content Marketing Awards and the Employee Communications Awards. Judged by globally regarded experts and featuring multiple categories, these programs honor the top work in communications, PR, marketing and media.
Ragan’s PR Daily Awards celebrates the teams, organizations and consultants who have redefined the field with their groundbreaking work. As an honorable mention recipient in the program, GBTA joins an elite group of past recipients, including Microsoft, New York Power Authority, Monster, Sling TV, M&M’s and Activision.
GBTA was chosen from a wide pool of entries to receive an honorable mention in the categories of Website and Press Event or Media Tour for the impact of its Media Day and Website Redesign.
“Out of many outstanding submissions, we found GBTA’s work to truly set a new standard of excellence for all practitioners. We congratulate them and look forward to seeing their future successes in this field,” said Justine Figueroa, senior marketing coordinator for awards programs at Ragan Communications.
We are so honored to receive honorable mentions in two categories for our GBTA Media Day and for our Redesigned Website. Both our media day and our website are great examples of what GBTA stands for—shining a spotlight on our members and providing them with the best information available.
