Personalization in Business Travel

Leading up to GBTA Convention 2017, we partnered with Phocuswright to launch the inaugural Innovation Series and highlight startup technologies shaping the business travel industry. Nine innovators competed for a spot on the all-new Innovation Row on the Expo, and one of the finalists was 30K.com.

Once in Boston, 30K.com CEO Alex Jawad sat down with GBTA’s Heather Haley and Travel Leaders Group’s Gabe Rizzi at our Broadcast Studio to discuss the personalization experience as it pertains to the business travel space.

For the frequent business traveler, comfort and convenience on the road are everything, but when it comes to the booking experience, flights are traditionally compared based on commonalities like price, number of stops, and duration. Alex stressed the importance of making the airfare purchasing experience more transparent and shared how his organization enables travelers to compare flights based on baggage allowance, airport lounge access, and additional benefits.
