Declaração da plataforma

“Fresh Leadership. Real Experience. One Choice.”

I’m Leslie Andrews. I’m running for GBTA Director at Large because I offer something a little different. I bring a lived balance of industry knowledge, procurement experience, business acumen, and deep practice in adult learning and training. My goal is simple: to benefit both today’s and tomorrow’s buyers and sellers of corporate travel.

~ Platform Statement ~

I am running for the GBTA Board of Directors at Large because I genuinely want to give back to this association. This industry has given me so much, and now I want to use everything I have learned, my skills, my experience, and even my willingness to learn new things, to guide corporate travel forward not just for today, but for the next generation of professionals coming behind us.

For the past 4 years, I have served on the GBTA Foundation Board, where I worked alongside others to refine our people and planet programs. Locally in the Chicago market, I have served on the Education Committee and participated in GBTA’s Blue Ribbon Initiative, where we worked to redefine what education sessions should look like.

I care deeply about expanding the role of today’s Travel Buyer and Manager. Not just for greater business impact, but also to ensure the position remains strong, relevant, and respected. At the same time, I am always looking ahead. What will this industry need in five or ten years? How do we prepare for that now? My perspective comes from walking in different parts of this industry, but especially education. As a former Academic Dean for adult learners, I understand how adults learn best, not through pressure, but through intention, support, and practical application. These are changing times, and I believe I have the expertise to help drive meaningful change for adult learners in our field.

While serving as a Foundation Board Member, I focused closely on GBTA Ladders. And I saw something beautiful happen. Buyers and suppliers, who sometimes see things differently, came together to develop new solutions for our industry. That sustained spirit of curiosity and teamwork is something I want to support further and bring to the Association as we write the future of the global corporate travel industry together.

I describe myself as a pragmatic servant leader. That means I collaborate with others, lead by example, and coach in the moment. Not because I have all the answers, but because I believe the best results come when we grow together.

As a former Dale Carnegie Trainer, I learned to see the good intentions in others. I don’t assume the worst. I look for what someone is trying to achieve, and then I support their effort to succeed. In partnership with GBTA members, I truly believe expansion and growth are possible in this industry. I have proven this through my work with GBTA, universities, and nonprofit organizations. And now, I am ready to leverage those skills to serve the industry.

~ Professional Education and Experience ~

My journey started over 20 years ago. I have worked across the hospitality and higher education industries, but my heart has always been in travel management. Over the years, I have had the privilege of leading global travel programs and serving as the academic dean of an international school.

Today, I wear a few different hats. I am the Director of Category Management for JLL. I also work as an ad hoc Professional Development Trainer and a Coach. On the education side, I have taught college courses, designed curricula, facilitated faculty development, and mentored adult learners. All of these experiences have shaped how I see the world and how I show up to serve.

I am also an active thought leader, though I don’t say that to sound important. I say it because I truly love contributing to this industry. I serve on the GBTA Foundation Board of Directors. I am on the Advisory Board for The Travel Coach Network, Gazeebo.ai, Uber for Business, and the ProcureCon Travel Advisory Board. I also serve as Co‑Chair of the Roosevelt University Heller Graduate School of Business Advisory Board and am a member of the DePaul University Dean’s Advisory Board.

Let me tell you how I actually got started in this industry. It wasn’t on the corporate side. I was introduced to travel through the leisure side first. Then I transitioned to corporate travel back in the 1990s. And honestly, that was quite a transformation. GBTA provided me with a pathway to gain deep knowledge of the hospitality industry. In 2012, through GBTA, I earned my Manager’s Certificate associated with Darden at the University of Virginia. In 2018, I earned my Global Leadership Professional Designation from GBTA  and Darden at the University of Virginia. And since 2020, I have had the privilege of co-teaching GBTA’s Advanced Principles of Business Travel. I also hold a master’s degree in Hospitality and Travel Tourism Management.

All of this to say, I am not someone who reads about this industry. I have lived it, learned it, taught it, and I am still learning every day.

~ Volunteerism ~

I share this list to show you that I have already been showing up for our industry long before asking for your vote. Here is what that has looked like:

I served as a GBTA Foundation Board Director from 2022 to 2026. I currently serve on DePaul University Dean’s Advisory School of Professional Studies, which started in 2024. I have been on the Roosevelt University Heller College of Business Advisory Board since 2009, and I am still there today. Back in 2018, I served on the GBTA Blue Ribbon Task Force on Education. Earlier, from 2012 to 2014, I was on the GBTA Chicago Education Committee. I have also been a speaker, moderator, and panelist at many GBTA, BTN, and ProcurCon events.

I am not new to the work. I have been in the rooms where decisions are made. I have served on committees, sat on panels, and shown up for the tasks no one claps for. I understand what this role requires because I have been doing the work underneath it for years.

~ My Commitment to You ~

If you trust me to serve as your GBTA Director at Large, here is what I promise you.

I will work to transform and enhance the industry-wide relevance of the Global Business Travel Association. Not just for the leaders in our industry, but for every single member. I want this association to matter more deeply to all of you.

You can call me. You can email me. You can text me. I have an open door. I am here for you.

Please check out my LinkedIn profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/leslierandrews

And when you are ready, I would be honored to earn your vote.

Declaração da plataforma

My name is Cristina Chimenti, and I am delighted to stand as a candidate for Director at Large on the Global Board of GBTA

I am Italian by heritage and UK‑based for over 20 years, currently Chefe de viagens globais na Sky, part of the Comcast Group, with responsibility across the UK, Italy and Germany. I lead a complex, multi‑market travel programme supporting over 34,000 travellers and managing a $100m annual travel spend, spanning air, hotel, rail, ground transport, meetings & events and payments .

Why I am standing

Business travel is undergoing structural and irreversible change

We are seeing disruption across distribution, sustainability expectations, payments, technology and operating models — alongside a rapid acceleration in inteligência artificial that is already reshaping how travel programmes are designed, managed and experienced.

I am standing for the GBTA Board because I believe our members need:

  • Practical guidance, not theory
  • Stronger collaboration between buyers and suppliers
  • UMA global perspective that reflects how large, complex organisations truly operate today

My priorities as Director at Large

If elected, I will focus on four interconnected priorities, aligned to GBTA’s Learning, Advocacy and Community pillars:

1. Enabling Change Through Practical Leadership: I will champion realworld case studies, frameworks and peer learning that help organisations navigate transformation across procurement, policy, sustainability and technology.

2. Embracing AI With Purpose: I will advocate for practical, responsible and buyerrelevant AI adoption, helping members understand where AI genuinely adds value — and where governance and human oversight remain essential.

3. Strengthening Buyer–Supplier Partnerships: I bring deep experience building and evolving strategic partnerships with airlines, hotels, TMCs, fintechs and emerging technology providers, and I will work to ensure GBTA remains a trusted platform for open, balanced and commercially realistic dialogue

4. Connecting a Truly Global Community: As Director at Large, my focus is global. I will leverage my experience working across geographies — and within a global organisation like Comcast — to help connect regional perspectives, scale best practice and ensure GBTA reflects the diversity and complexity of its worldwide membership.

What I bring to the Global Board

I bring a blend of:

  • Senior leadership experience across global travel, procurement and finance
  • A strong background in change management and transformation
  • Hands‑on experience operating and influencing largescale supplier partnerships
  • Active contribution to GBTA Payments e Inclusion & Culture Committees
  • Over a decade of Quadrolevel experience across industry bodies and non‑profits, including the completion of a six‑year term as an ITM Board Director, concluded in April 2026

I operate at the intersection of buyers, suppliers and technology, and I am comfortable challenging existing models while remaining focused on delivery and outcomes.

Why vote for me:

I bring:

  • UMA global mindset with operational credibility
  • A balance of strategy, pragmatism and curiosity
  • A genuine belief in the power of relationships between buyers, suppliers and industry partners

If you elect me as GBTA Director at Large, I will:

  • Lead through change
  • Strengthen global collaboration
  • Champion innovation, including AI

Together, we can continue shaping a stronger, more connected future for business travel.

Declaração da plataforma

Hello, I’m Ben Park, Executive Director of Travel & Sustainability at Parexel. I’m honored to stand for a second term as European Regional Director on the GBTA Global Board.

During my first term, I’ve had the privilege of contributing at a pivotal moment—when everything in business travel is changing fast. While representing Europe at the global GBTA board, my work has extended across the world: engaging with policymakers in Brussels on sustainability and passenger-rights reform, collaborating with member associations and partners everywhere. My focus has been simple: ensuring that the voice of corporate travel managers and suppliers in Europe is heard, respected, and reflected in the decisions that shape our global industry’s future.

Here’s the reality: the way we source, book, and manage travel will change. That’s not a prediction—it’s happening right now. The shift from traditional distribution models to modern retailing in air and hospitality, combined with AI tools emerging faster than we can keep up with, is fundamentally reshaping our industry. These changes are fast, they’re complex, and they have real consequences for our global travel programs.

Sustainability has been at the heart of my work—not as some abstract commitment, but as a practical reality. I’m fighting for real solutions: sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) adoption through book and claim models, better rail connectivity so we can reduce short-haul flights, and emissions reduction frameworks that actually work. This isn’t about limiting mobility—it’s about smarter, more responsible mobility. And honestly, for travelers, it often means less stress and sometimes even better productivity.

My priority is ensuring that GBTA remains the place where we tackle these challenges together. We need real dialogue between buyers, suppliers, TMCs, and technology partners—focused on building solutions that work for everyone across the value chain. GBTA has a unique role: creating shared understanding, defining best practices, and making sure member voices are amplified as our industry evolves.

What drives me is knowing that the conversations we’re having today—at GBTA conferences, in working groups, with regulators—are building the foundation for the next decade of business travel. I believe our industry can lead this transformation. I want to be part of making that happen.

I’m grateful for the trust placed in me over my first term and the relationships I’ve built across regions. It would be an honor to continue serving on the GBTA Global Board, helping guide our industry through this pivotal moment.

INTRODUCTION

My name’s Linda Bekoe, CEO and Founder of About Partners Luxury Brands Collection, with over two decades of experience in the travel industry. And I’m excited to submit my candidacy for the Allied At-Large board position.

I’m standing for election because our industry is at a pivotal moment. We’re navigating new markets, embracing diverse cultures, and adapting to a rapidly evolving landscape. It’s essential that we remain at the forefront of this change – driving growth, nurturing talent, and, most importantly, delivering greater value to our members.

I’ve been part of the GBTA community since 2009. As a supplier, a business owner, a member, and current Chair of the Inclusion and Culture Committee. In that time, I’ve seen this association grow in ambition, in reach, and in its commitment to supporting the global business travel community it serves. I know the transformation and lasting impact we can create.

I also understand deeply the global influence and importance of our organisation in shaping businesses and the future of our industry. The markets driving the next chapter of growth are no longer the ones we know best. The opportunities are significant. And the organisations that will capitalise on them are those with the tools, the mindset and the cultural intelligence to operate effectively across the globe.

Cultural intelligence has the powerful ability to strengthen businesses, foster meaningful connections, and enable our industry to thrive.

Helping realise that is the contribution I want to make as a member of our board.

MY VISION

Culture. Collaboration. Capital.

Business travel exists to forge the relationships that make business happen. And the quality of those relationships depends on cultural intelligence.

It isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s what turns a meeting into a partnership, a conversation into a contract, a connection into lasting commercial value. And it’s the business case for our growth.

The next chapter for GBTA isn’t coming from the markets we know best. It’s coming from Africa, from Asia, from South America — regions that represent new members, new markets and new revenue for GBTA and every organisation in our community. Regions where cultural intelligence isn’t optional. Where the difference between understanding and misunderstanding local norms and business protocols is the difference between winning business and losing it entirely. If we fail to develop that intelligence, GBTA risks becoming less relevant, less representative, and ultimately less valuable to its members.

Cultural intelligence isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the business case for our growth.

Organisations that invest in cultural intelligence don’t just do the right thing. They outperform. They unlock greater innovation. They access markets others can’t reach. They attract and retain better talent. And they consistently deliver stronger financial returns — research shows they’re 35% more likely to achieve above-average financial returns. The business case isn’t ambiguous, it’s compelling, and it’s the GBTA we should be building.

My vision is for a GBTA that leads on this. That views cultural intelligence not as a value statement, but as a growth strategy that drives revenue, deepens supplier partnerships, opens new markets, and equips every member — buyer, supplier, planner, leader — with the tools, insight and confidence to turn cultural understanding into commercial advantage.

Culture drives collaboration. And collaboration drives capital. That’s what I’m here to help build.

MY PRIORITIES

01 Make Cultural Intelligence a Strategic Business Tool

Cultural competence should be as fundamental to a travel programme as cost management or risk policy. My priority is to equip GBTA members with the practical frameworks, training and resources to embed cultural intelligence into their travel programmes, supplier relationships, meetings strategy and internal teams. Not as an aspiration, but as standard operating practice.

This means raising GBTA’s global cultural IQ across our membership: helping buyers, suppliers and planners understand how cultural dynamics – language, local norms, generational values, communication styles – directly impact business outcomes. And it means ensuring every culture and inclusion initiative is tied to measurable results. ROI. Member value. Business performance. Evidence is what turns good intentions into lasting change.

02 Grow GBTA’s Global Reach

The business travel industry’s greatest untapped opportunity lies in the regions that are currently underrepresented in our leadership, our membership and our programming. Africa, South America, and key markets across Asia are not future considerations, they’re present realities that our members are already navigating, often without the support and insight they need.

I’ll advocate for GBTA to build genuine presence and relevance in these markets: deepening local engagement, developing layered regional frameworks that balance global consistency with local intelligence, and ensuring that the association’s voice, resources and community reflect the full geography of global business travel.

03 Deepen Inclusion and Representation

GBTA’s strength lies in the diversity of its community – buyers and suppliers, large corporates and SMEs, established markets and emerging ones. My commitment is to ensure that diversity is genuinely reflected at every level of the association: in its membership, its leadership, its committees and its programming.

Building on the work of the Inclusion and Culture Committee, I will push for broader geographic and cultural representation, amplify underrepresented voices, and ensure GBTA remains an association where every member, wherever they are in the world, feels seen, valued and served.

WHY ME. WHY LINDA BEKOE

Because I’ve spent over twenty years building and leading a hospitality and travel business that operates across five continents.

Spanning operations, commercial strategy and leadership, the cultural intelligence I’m advocating for isn’t theoretical. It’s baked into how I operate every day as CEO of APLBC, directly contributing to a business growth mindset that delivers success in culturally complex markets – I understand both the challenge and the commercial opportunity because I live them day in day out.

Within GBTA, I’ve served our community since 2009 and currently chair the Inclusion and Culture Committee. I bring the perspective of a global operator, the experience of a proven inclusion champion, and a genuine commitment to service – to mentoring the next generation, to amplifying underrepresented voices, and to building an association that delivers real value for every one of its members.

CALL TO ACTION

I ask for your support, your vote and your partnership.

Together, we’ll make cultural intelligence a competitive advantage for every GBTA member. We’ll build the global reach our industry deserves. And we’ll ensure that GBTA leads, not follows, the next chapter of business travel growth.

Culture. Collaboration. Capital.

Declaração da plataforma

After more than three decades in within in travel, I’ve seen first-hand the value GBTA brings though connecting people, sharing knowledge and advocating for our industry. I’m standing for the GBTA Board – Allied At Large, because I believe the opportunity now is to elevate that value further, making it more commercially impactful, more inclusive and more aligned to an industry that continues to evolve at pace.

My focus is clear: Inspire, Educate and Amplify.

Inspire: If we want a strong future, we need to actively build it. Our industry is experienced every day by millions of travellers, often during moments of reflection in transit. That is a powerful, underused opportunity. We should be turning those experiences into career curiosity and clear pathways into our industry. I will champion a more deliberate, visible approach to engaging the next generation across multiple channels, positioning corporate travel as a modern, dynamic and purposeful career of choice.

Educate: GBTA already provides strong education. My priority is to ensure it consistently delivers measurable commercial, operational and strategic impact. For buyers, that means actionable insight that improves programme performance, strengthens supplier partnerships and delivers clear return on investment. For the wider community, it means practical, experience-led learning that reflects real-world decision-making. Education must move beyond knowledge-sharing, it must drive better outcomes with purpose.

Amplify: Our industry is diverse, and GBTA must fully reflect that. Independent TMCs bring agility, innovation and deep client understanding, yet their voice is not always as visible as it should be. I will actively champion greater inclusion and engagement of this community, strengthening representation, increasing participation and ensuring their perspective is embedded in how GBTA evolves.

Equally, I will be a strong advocate for the buyer community. Buyers need an association that delivers clear, tangible value, not just connection, but outcomes. By strengthening that value proposition and making it more visible, we have a real opportunity to attract new buyers, deepen engagement and drive meaningful membership growth. Growth should not be a target in itself, it should be the result of consistently delivering relevance and impact.

This is not about reinvention, it’s about raising the bar. Ensuring GBTA continues to lead our industry with credibility, commercial relevance and a voice that represents the full ecosystem.

I bring deep industry experience, a strong network and a genuine commitment to this community. I would be proud to serve on the GBTA Board – Allied at Large and I would value your support.

Declaração da plataforma

This industry shaped my career. Serving on the GBTA Board is my chance to help shape its future.

My parents met working in travel. I grew up stamping holiday brochures after school and delivering paper tickets across town. Thirty-something years later I’m a VP at a travel technology company, mentoring the next generation through the Ladders program, and standing for election to the global Board. This industry gave me everything. This is how I give some of it back.

Vision: GBTA is strongest when it reflects where business travel is going, not just where it has been. The lines between managed travel and meetings and events are blurring. Buyer remit is converging. AI is reshaping how we source, book and manage travel at scale. The association needs voices who understand those shifts from the inside, and can help GBTA stay ahead of them.

My priorities

People and pipeline. We have one of the most diverse, globally connected careers available, yet we’re still the best kept secret going. I want GBTA to tell that story louder and more deliberately. Concretely, that means strengthening the Ladders mentoring program, amplifying member career narratives, and making the association a more visible destination for talent entering the workforce. Having mentored more than 50 professionals through my career, this isn’t a new priority for me, it’s an existing commitment I want to scale.

Meetings and events belong in the conversation. Business travel exists because people need to meet. As buyer remit converges and more members own both travel and M&E, our advocacy and positioning needs to reflect the full picture, not just half of it. I will push for M&E to be consistently represented in GBTA’s research agenda, policy positions, and member programming.

What I bring: I am a proven leader with deep roots in this association and genuine global experience. My career spans every corner of this industry. Fifteen years leading global teams across five continents, from high-growth technology businesses to senior leadership at one of the world’s largest travel companies. Within GBTA I’ve progressed from committee leader to European Regional Advisory Board member, representing the industry in front of EU policymakers. I’m already operating at board level. I’m not arriving to learn the basics, I’m arriving ready to contribute from day one.

My commitment to members: Everything I’ve done in this association has been about giving more than I take. That won’t change on the global Board.

If you want a Board that invests in future talent, reflects the full business travel ecosystem, and stays grounded in member value, I’d be honored to earn your vote.

Declaração da plataforma

Saudações colegas membros do GBTA-

My name is Evan Koppel, and I am running for the Supplier-at-Large seat on the GBTA Board. Throughout my 3 decades in the travel industry, I have always been one to further educate and involve myself in this organization to ensure that: 1) I was astute to the latest industry issues and had a voice in the process; 2) To give myself every opportunity to be informed so that I could be the best consultant for my customers and advocate for my company; and 3) To build relationships with smart, dedicated and engaged individuals across all areas of this fascinating industry. It is for this reason, why I have always found value in my GBTA membership.

Since November of 2025, I have been a GBTA Global Board member and have thoroughly enjoyed this experience while learning even more about this dynamic industry and how we need to keep evolving. I am also currently sitting on the Finance and Membership Committees.

I am grateful for the opportunity to run for this position, and today I ask for your support. As a board member, I would have three main priorities:

  1. Impulsione o envolvimento dos membros fortalecendo a programação do capítulo local
With my experience participating in chapter meetings all over the country, I have observed that the strongest chapters are those that have a regular meeting cadence, offer relevant and current content, and where direct members have built connections with other travel buyers. The strength of these chapters fuels the growth of GBTA as a whole. As a board member, I would focus more resources and attention on delivering chapter level programming and exclusive engagements that drive direct member connections and value. This would include specific and applicable programming such as goal setting, traveler communications, executive presence to c-suite, leadership training, traveler friction strategies and technology, just to name a few.
  • Estabelecer a posição da GBTA na vanguarda da mudança tecnológica transformacional
Technology is causing a seismic shift in our industry, and many of our members need help navigating their options for the future. There’s a distinct need for an unbiased resource to help members understand topics like NDC, and this presents a huge opportunity for GBTA to lead the way. As a board member, I would encourage our organization to provide the structure, guidance and education our members so urgently need. This would include:
    • Complete a “single source of truth” GBTA platform and resource library with relevant and applicable information on the technology, links to supplier pages, topical articles, and updates charts on technology products/solutions.
    • Provide guidelines and forums to help buyers and suppliers have fact-based, solution-oriented conversations to reach a joint understanding around strategy, direction and impact to travel programs and end-users.
    • Establish buyer case studies that can serve as roadmaps for our members as they work through the impact of these technological changes will have on their businesses and travel programs.
  • Duplicar a defesa e a liderança da indústria Leaning on my strong advocacy background, I would ensure GBTA can shape legislation and guidelines to best reflect the composition and interests of its membership. Over the past 8 years, I spearheaded United Airlines participation in the GBTA Legislative Summit where we have routinely had the largest contingent of any organization in attendance. This event has become a must for our sales team, as they gain insights into how our democracy works and how it affects change on our industry. I have also participated in the US Travel Association/Destination Capitol Hill with a similar focus on our top travel priorities. Additionally, as a Washington, DC resident with an office alongside our government affairs team, I am perfectly situated to draw upon their expertise and networks. As a board member, I would encourage and develop supplier collaboration and utilize the resources of GBTA to ensure top industry roadblocks are addressed effectively and in a timely manner. There are a multitude of important topics, but I find the following are particularly critical at this point in time:
    • Making travel accessible and inclusive for all
    • Helping to create a more sustainable future for business travel
    • Immediately addressing visa and customs wait times that discourage travel

I have built a career on being a strong leader, listener, and advocate. Some have called me “the voice of reason,” and I believe that stems from my ability to empathize, use diplomacy and to see issues from all perspectives. Between these qualities and my professional background, I am uniquely qualified for the supplier-at-large board seat and would be honored to serve and represent you. I look forward to working with each of you to make GBTA, and therefore your involvement in GBTA, stronger and more valuable than ever before. Thank you for your support!

My vision is to help build an even more connected, collaborative, and internationally representative association — one that continues to bring together every part of our industry while expanding its relevance across growing markets and new generations of leaders.

If elected, one of my priorities will be increasing engagement and representation across Latin America and other high-growth regions, helping ensure that diverse perspectives are part of the global conversation and future decision-making.

I also believe GBTA should continue leading discussions around technology, innovation, traveler experience, and operational transformation, while preserving the strong partnerships that make this industry successful.

Declaração da plataforma

The corporate travel industry is at an inflection point. Professionals who manage travel programs today are navigating more complexity than ever before: rising airfare costs, geopolitical volatility, fragmented systems, and growing pressure to demonstrate strategic value within their organizations. At the same time, artificial intelligence is reshaping what is possible, and the gap between those who are already operationalizing it and those who are still waiting is widening every quarter.

If elected to the GBTA Board of Directors, my focus will be built around three interconnected priorities.

The first is professional development. Travel managers deserve more than recognition. They deserve structured, ongoing investment in the skills, tools, and frameworks that allow them to lead with confidence in an increasingly complex environment. GBTA is uniquely positioned to build and scale that infrastructure globally, and I will work to make it a defining pillar of the association’s mission.

The second is agentic AI in practice. The conversation around artificial intelligence in corporate travel has too often remained theoretical. I bring a perspective grounded in operational reality: in Latin America, we have already deployed agentic AI at scale, with documented results across hundreds of enterprise clients. I will work to translate those learnings into practical frameworks and resources that benefit GBTA members globally, regardless of market maturity.

The third is emerging market representation. Latin America is the tenth largest corporate travel market in the world, with over USD 50 billion in annual volume. Yet the voices, insights, and innovations emerging from this region remain underrepresented in global industry conversations. I will work to change that, not by advocating for one region, but by building bridges that make the entire industry stronger through broader, more diverse perspectives.

GBTA has always been at its best when it connects the right people, amplifies the right ideas, and equips its members to lead. I am running because I believe the industry’s next chapter will be written collectively, and I want to help write it.

C.A.R.E.

I am honored to be considered for the Allied at Large seat on the GBTA Board of Directors. GBTA plays a crucial role in fostering connections, innovation and growth across the myriad levels of the vast global travel landscape. As an
industry and an association we face an increasingly complex business environment, marked by economic and
technologic uncertainty in a world of shifting geopolitical dynamics. Today, unity, collaboration and leadership are
essential for success and for survival.

I believe in supporting an association that listens and considers all voices, every opinion and each idea irrespective of source – be it company, position, region or industry influence. My commitment is that every travel stakeholder’s perspective from across the travel ecosystem is welcomed, represented, and empowered.

Coming into business travel later and with fresh eyes, has been advantageous because it’s afforded me an opportunity to see a business traveler’s journey from a relatively unbiased perspective. I really embrace the complexities and challenges that hold us back as an industry in the same light as the potential our industry still has. I joined GBTA a few days prior to the Orlando Convention, post-COVID 2021, not knowing what to expect. The embrace and welcome I received even as an “outsider” showed me the care each person has for one another as well as the willingness to teach and mentor. The desire to watch someone succeed or have a “lightbulb” moment of realization or breakthrough has been contagious in fueling my passion for the industry and the commitment I’m making to having those moments
continue for all. The past six years have been truly transformative personally and professionally while my love for the
industry has only deepened. I am eager to contribute my experiences and passion to GBTA’s mission(s) in a more
meaningful way and excited to be a part of others journeys. I want to show that it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been
in the industry, you can always make an impact every single day. You just need to be willing to stand up, participate and say something.

To make this vision a reality, and if elected to the Board, I will focus on C.A.R.E as my foundational pillars:

Community. Many Voices, One Purpose. I will continue to support and implement ways of fostering our existing membership while welcoming new individuals that can help mold our industry with different unique perspectives through collaboration. Active listening, open dialogue and mentorship need to be fostered as essential components of how we all approach daily conversations in our mission to unite disparate communities and generations across GBTA’s wide
array of sectors. Mutual respect, genuine partnership and a hands on approach will be the cornerstones of ensuring collaboration amongst all geographies and roles. Strengthening member engagement and growth will take ingenuity to keep up with our member’s needs and the shifting trends they face.

Advocacia. People First, Planet Always. We must embody community as a unified voice championing the needs of
business travelers and our industry while being conscious of the lasting impacts we leave future generations. I vow to continue to be a voice from the local to global stage for any matter through accountability, forthrightness, stability and integrity. We have a responsibility to amplify diverse voices and establish pathways for all individuals to engage in any
part of the business travel arena with a purpose.

Resilience. As an industry, we have learned resilience over the past seven years. We’ve learned that embracing
different viewpoints and different ways of thinking is not a concept, it’s a requirement. I am committed to supporting the implementation of guidelines and best practices to enhance our readiness for whatever the future holds. As we pivot
through geopolitical, technological and industry changes; we must continue to show drive, grit and a willingness to
adapt. We must continue to push key initiatives forward. Listening to the perspectives and learning from our deep pool of experts is one of the keys for us to evolve together.

Education. The most powerful tool there is. Professional and personal growth drives curiosity, innovation, and levels the playing field through equitable access for everyone. Meaningful, thought-provoking and engaging learning must continue to be supported through different avenues. These include our local chapters, GBTA Ladders, WINiT and other initiatives (NextGen etc.) to strengthen the sustained growth of our members and the industry. Benchmarking must be
enhanced and implemented to ensure all business travel professionals have access to resources needed to grow and learn with GBTA. Leadership development is a key component of evolving a strong pipeline of next-generation talent. I am committed to creating a welcoming safe space environment for learning and networking to empower rising
profissionais.

GBTA has provided a platform where these pillars and values can flourish. I will honor the work of those who came
before me and set a continued foundation for those who will lead next. I remain committed to fostering a community that empowers all voices while impacting meaningful change through fiscal responsibility, ethical leadership, and ultimate transparency. I value the honor to act in the best interest of the GBTA members and for the advancement and greater good of our business travel industry. This industry has become family and I look forward to leaving a positive and lasting impact if elected.

The future of business travel is ours to envision and sculpt. Let’s lead and forge the industry together through C.A.R.E.

Thank you for your support and consideration.

Declaração da plataforma

I am standing for a seat on the Global Board as a supplier representative because I believe our industry is entering one of the most important transformation periods we have ever seen.

Business travel is evolving rapidly — through technology, changing traveller expectations, sustainability pressures, geopolitical uncertainty, and the increasing need for stronger global collaboration.

At the same time, one thing remains constant:

The success of our industry depends on partnership.

No buyers alone. No suppliers alone. But a truly connected ecosystem built on transparency, innovation, and shared progress.

As a supplier representative, my commitment would be to help strengthen that ecosystem globally — ensuring that all stakeholders have a voice, and that our association continues to lead the future of business travel with relevance, credibility, and impact.

If elected, my platform would focus on five key priorities.

  1. Strengthening Global Collaboration
  1. Elevating Industry Thought Leadership
  1. Technology & AI Readiness
  1. Advocacy & Industry Visibility
  1. Building the Next Generation of Industry Leadership

To help build a more connected, innovative, collaborative, and globally influential business travel community.

One where buyers and suppliers work together strategically.

Evolving the Narrative: Business Travel that is Powered by Technology and Defined by People

When I first ran for the GBTA Global Board of Directors, my focus was on Changing the Narrative of Business Travel by elevating our role, our voice, and our impact.

Over the past two years, it has been an honor to serve on the Board during a period of meaningful progress and transformation. I’ve experienced the value of GBTA through so many facets – as Chair of the Board Education Committee, Chair of the GBTA Technology Committee, a WINiT mentor and Top 50 honoree, and as a GBTA Ladders participant for nearly nine years. Those roles have given me the privilege of engaging with members across our global community, as I listened, learned, and helped shape initiatives that support our industry’s growth.

But now, we are entering an even more defining moment. As AI accelerates and technology reshapes how we work, the opportunity in front of us is not just about adopting new tools. It’s about redefining the role of people in our industry.

Because while technology will scale, human capability will bring differentiation. That is why I am running for a second term.

My focus is on Evolving the Narrative to ensure that as our industry advances, we intentionally invest in the human side of performance, leadership, and connection. I will continue to align to GBTA’s pillars of Learning, Community, and Advocacy:

1. Learning: Build Human Capability in a Tech-Driven World

To thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape, our industry must move beyond knowledge and focus on capability.

As we invest in technology roadmaps, we must equally invest in people roadmaps to equip people with the skills needed to lead, adapt, and create value alongside technology.

This includes not only AI skills, but also the human capabilities that drive impact: strategic thinking, communication, influence, and decision-making.

Because in a tech-enabled world, it’s not just about having a seat at the table, it’s about thriving at the table.

2. Community: Elevate Connection Through Intentionality and Purpose

GBTA has long been built on a strong and vibrant community and it is one of our greatest strengths.

As technology continues to reshape how we connect, human interaction becomes even more valuable but also more impactful when it is intentional.

My focus is not to build more connection but to maximize the value of the connections we already have by creating more purposeful opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and meaningful exchange.

This includes continuing to invest in NextGen talent, ensuring we are not only attracting the next generation, but actively integrating their voices and perspectives into our sector.

As digital connection increases, we need intentional human connection to truly differentiate us.

3. Advocacy: Expand Our Voice for a Changing Industry

GBTA has established a strong and respected foundation in global advocacy by representing our industry on critical issues such as policy, sustainability, and mobility.

Now, as our industry becomes more interconnected with broader forces, including technology, workforce transformation, and global infrastructure, that advocacy must evolve.

My focus is to support GBTA in expanding its voice and influence, ensuring business travel is not only represented, but actively contributing to the conversations shaping the future.

This includes strengthening partnerships beyond our industry, broadening our presence in emerging areas such as AI and the future of work, and ensuring our advocacy reflects both business priorities and human outcomes.

Looking Ahead

The future of business travel is evolving and while it will be powered by technology, it will be defined by people.

If re-elected, I will continue to bring a thoughtful, forward-looking perspective to the Board that builds on GBTA’s strong foundation while helping to shape what comes next for our industry and our members.

Let’s evolve the narrative together.
