The 2026 GBTA Business Travel Index (BTI) provides a comprehensive outlook for business travel spending and volume across 72 countries and 44 industries.
Now in its 18th annual edition, the GBTA BTI forecasts global business travel spending will reach a record $1.71 trillion in 2026, while business travel volume is projected to total approximately 1.84 billion trips worldwide. The report also includes insights from more than 4,700 business travelers across 66 global markets on their travel activity, preferences and spending.
